Carved Cakes can be made in almost any shape and size. Design and number of servings must be carefully planned. We require a minimum of 30 servings for any carved cake. Prices begin at $4.50 per serving, and the final price is dependent on complexity of design and detail. Please note that carved cakes are indeed unique and original, and are more labor intensive to create. Prices will naturally be higher than regular cake pricing.
** Ganache and Fondant are Specialty Finishes on both cakes and cupcakes, and therefore an additional $0.50 per serving.
** Fondant or gumpaste accents/flowers/figures, and extensive design work are also an extra charge on all cakes and cupcakes, and will be priced on an individual basis.
Delivery ~ FREE DELIVERY to Pelham addresses! Delivery fee to
surrounding towns is $1.50 per mile, up to 40 miles away, and is calculated based
on mileage according to Mapquest. We will deliver to destinations up to 75 miles
away, but those delivery fees will be custom quoted.
Ordering and Payment
We suggest placing your wedding cake order at least four months in advance, or much earlier if you're planning for a popular date. Please call to schedule a consultation appointment, so that together we may design a beautiful cake for your very special day!
Wedding cake orders require a non-refundable $100 deposit to reserve your date, which will be applied towards your total. 50% of the order total is due eight weeks prior to delivery, with the balance due four weeks prior to delivery date. Should the client cancel the order for any reason, any and all payments made to Cakes 5th Avenue up to that point are Non-Refundable.
Party cakes should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance, but we're sometimes able to accommodate an order on short notice.
Party cake orders require a 50% deposit to be booked into our schedule. Balance due one week prior to party date.
Any order placed with less than two weeks leadtime require payment in full at time of ordering.
Orders placed less than one week to dlvry date will incur a $10 Rush fee.
Remember... Sending a deposit is the only way to ensure that you get the date you want. We simply can't hold a date without payment.
Accepted Forms of Payment: Cash, personal check or pay securely by major credit card or checking account via Paypal.
